Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions of Hotel Interciti are as follows.

  • Article 1. (Application)
    1. The hotel hereby states that it concludes all of the accommodation agreements and related contracts based on these service terms and conditions. The pertinent statutes or business customs will apply to matters not provided under these terms and conditions.
    2. The bookings with this hotel using a credit card adhere to these service terms and conditions, and their specific terms and conditions adhere to the agreement signed between the credit card companies and the hotel's credit card affiliate members.
    3. The hotel may only accept special contracts, as long as the purpose of these terms and conditions, applicable statutes and customs are not violated.
  • Article 2. (Refusal of Accommodation Booking)

    The hotel may refuse accommodation booking in the following cases:

    1. Accommodation bookings where these terms and conditions are not applied;
    2. When there are no vacant rooms available;
    3. When it is feared the customer may commit acts violating the statutes pertaining to hotel accommodations or acts violating the public order or social customs;
    4. When the customer is evaluated to be infected with a contagious disease;
    5. When the customer causes an overburden to the hotel in excess of reasonable accommodations;
    6. When it is deemed the customer possesses a pet animal or dangerous chemicals;
    7. When it is impossible to accept the accommodation booking due to a natural disaster, failure of facilities, or other unavoidable causes; or
    8. When it is deemed that the accommodation booking cannot be accepted based on the statutes of S. Korea
  • Article 3. (Indication of Full Name)

    The hotel may request accommodation booking applicants to provide the below-listed information:

    1. Full name, gender, address, passport number, phone number, vehicle number, etc. of the guest; and
    2. Other information the hotel deems necessary
  • Article 4. (Reservation Deposit)
    1. The hotel will honor bookings only when it has duly received a reservation deposit after accepting the booking.
      However, the hotel will honor bookings regardless of whether reservation deposit has been paid when the guest provides his/her credit card information for payment of the hotel bills or the guest otherwise guarantees the payment of the bills at the time the booking is made.
    2. When the customer falls under the provisions concerning the booking cancellation under Article 5, the reservation deposit will be applied to pay the cancellation fee and the remaining balance will be refunded back. In cases where the booking is made with a credit card, the cancellation fee will be incurred through the credit card company when the cancellation falls under Article 5.
    3. When a booking is made with a credit card or is cancelled, the hotel will inform the customer of the booking acceptance number, date of booking accepted, the name of the person who accepted the booking, and the details of the cancellation fee.
  • Article 5. (Cancellation of Booking)
    1. The hotel claims a cancellation fee as follows when a customer cancels the whole or a part of his/her booking:
      1. Individual accommodation customers (less than five rooms)
        1. ① When the booking is cancelled 2 days before the planned check-in date: 50% of the first day's room rate
        2. ② When the booking is cancelled 1 day before the planned check-in date: 80% of the first day's room rate
        3. ③ When the booking is cancelled on the day of the planned check-in date: 100% of the first day's room rate
      2. Group accommodation customers (five rooms or more)
        1. ① When the booking is cancelled 4 to 7 days before the planned check-in date: 50% of the first day's room rate
        2. ② When the booking is cancelled 1 to 3 days before the planned check-in date: 60% of the first day's room rate
        3. ③ When the booking is cancelled on the day of the planned check-in date: 100% of the first day's room rate
    2. The hotel claims 100% of the first day's room rate as cancellation fee when a customer fails to check in on the planned day without any notice.
    3. When a customer cancels his/her booking on the same day of planned check-in date, because he/she is unable to use airline or other public transportation service on account of a natural disaster, the booking may be cancelled without imposing a fee or penalty.
  • Article 6. (Refusal of Booking or Accommodation)

    The hotel may refuse a booking or accommodations in the following cases:

    1. When the customer falls under subparagraph 1 through 8 of Article 2; or
    2. When the guest fails to comply with the hotel's service rules and accommodation terms and conditions
  • Article 7. (Registration)

    The customers are required to register the information under Article 3 with the Front Desk during the check-in process.

  • Article 8. (Check-In / Out)

    The customer should check in by 3:00 p.m. and check out by 11:00 a.m. Additional rates are incurred as follows when the guest checks in earlier or checks out later than the above time:

    1. Early check-in (09:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.): 10% of the daily room rate per hour of early check-in
    2. Late check-out (11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.): 10% of the daily room rate per hour of late check-out
    3. Check-out after 3:00 p.m.: One full day's room rate

    ※ The early check-in or late check-out may not be possible depending on the booking situation.

  • Article 9. (Settlement of Bills)
    1. The room rate should be paid at the Front Desk in cash (Korean won), by credit card, traveler's checks or vouchers accepted by the hotel upon check-out or when billed by the hotel.
    2. The room rate should be paid even if the guest does not or cannot stay at the hotel at his/her discretion or due to an unavoidable reason after registration.
  • Article 10. (Receipt and Return of Room Keys)
    1. The Front Desk will issue a room key to the guest, who should return the key to the Front Desk together with payment of bills upon check-out.
    2. If a guest loses his/her room key while staying at the hotel, please notify the Front Desk immediately. Additional expense will apply for a lost key.
  • Article 11. (Compliance with Service Rules)

    The guest shall comply with the service rules provided by the hotel without failure.

  • Article 12. (Refusal of Extension of Stay)

    The hotel may refuse the extension of stay even during the booked stay period in the following cases:

    1. When it is deemed that the guest falls under any of subparagraph 1 through 8 of Article 2; or
    2. When the guest fails to comply with the rules of the hotel.
  • Article 13. (Responsibility for Accommodations)
    1. The hotel's responsibility for accommodations takes effect upon the guest's registration and terminates when the guest vacates the room upon check-out.
    2. The hotel will guide the guest to other accommodations with identical or similar amenities when it becomes unable to provide a room to someone who made a booking together with a deposit or payment guarantee.
  • Article 14. (Business Hours)

    The business hours of the hotel's additional facilities are posted separately but are subject to change depending on circumstances.
